Nødssituasjon

A situation in which urgent action is required. For example: if a woman has sexual intercourse without using contraception and does not want to get pregnant, she needs to take an emergency contraceptive pill as soon as possible. Or if a person has unprotected sex and thinks he or she may have caught HIV, then he or she needs to have PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis) treatment as soon as possible.
