Ovul

Celulă sexuală feminină. Femeia se naște cu multe ovule în ovare. Începând de la pubertate, în fiecare lună se eliberează un ovul. Atunci când ovulul este fecundat de un spermatozoid, femeia rămâne gravidă. În cazul în care ovulul nu este fecundat, acesta moare, iar femeia are menstruație.

Egg cell

Female sex cell. A woman is born with many egg cells in her ovaries. From puberty onwards, one egg cell is released every month. When an egg cell is fertilized by a sperm cell, a woman becomes pregnant. If the egg is not fertilized, it dies and the woman gets her menstrual period.
