Diyafram

Kadının cinsel birliktelik öncesinde vajinasına yerleştirdiği azami 10 cm genişliğindeki lastik parça. Kadını gebe kalmaktan korur (bir gebelik önleme yöntemidir). Diyafram, rahim girişini (rahim ağzı) kapatır ve erkeğin sperminin rahme girmesine engel olur. Korumayı arttırmak için diyaframın içine sperm hücrelerini öldüen veya engelleyen bir jel sürülür.

Diaphragm

Silicone cap, with a maximum diameter of 10 cm wide, which a woman puts into her vagina before having sexual intercourse. It prevents a woman from getting pregnant (it is a method of contraception). A diaphragm covers the entrance to the uterus (cervix) and prevents the man's semen from entering the uterus. To enhance protection, a gel is applied to the inside of the diaphragm to kill or inhibit sperm cells.
