Syfilis

Infectie veroorzaakt door een bacterie. Syfilis is een seksueel overdraagbare aandoening (soa). Eerst ontstaan zweren op de geslachtsdelen, in de mond of aars of tussen de billen. Daarna volgt uitslag op de binnenkant van de handen, voeten en rug. Een dokter kan syfilis genezen met injecties of antibiotica.

Syphilis is a sexually transmitted infection (STI). The first symptom is a wound on the genitals, in the mouth, anus or between the buttocks. The wound is painless. Later symptoms include skin rash in your palms, on your feet or on your back, swollen lymph nodes and fever. Using a condom when having sex reduces the risk of infection. Syphilis is caused by bacteria and can be cured with antibiotics.
