Kısırlaştırma

Bir kadını ya da erkeği kısır hale getirme operasyonu. Doktor, (erkekte) sperm kanallarını keser ya da (kadında) yumurta kanallarını bağlar. Kısırlaştırma, bir gebelik önleme yöntemidir. Kısırlaştırma işlemi tersine çevrilebilir, ancak bu zordur ve genellikle başarılı olmaz. Kısırlaştırma, kalıcı bir gebelik önleme yöntemi olarak görülür.

Sterilization

Operation to make a man or a woman infertile. The doctor cuts the sperm ducts (in a man) or ties the fallopian tubes (in a woman). Sterilization is a method of contraception. Sterilization can be reversed, but it is difficult and mostly unsuccessful. It is considered a permanent method of contraception.
